The Tennessee Titans made a surprise presentation to Christion Abercrombie following the Sloan Award presentation. Titans great Eddie George presented Abercrombie with a personalized Titans jersey. The team has shown its support of Abercrombie in numerous ways since his 2018 injury. He was honored in a pre-game ceremony as the "12th Titan" and also announced the Titans' fifth round draft pick in the 2019 NFL draft, which was held in Nashville. Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel is a huge supporter of Abercrombie and requested George present the jersey for him as Vrabel was attending the NFL Combine on the evening of the banquet.
